SALTZ
…….
Salt in its Purest Form
SALTZ comes from a natural mineral rock
salt deposited deep in the earth. This was formed millions
of years ago when the air and the environment was free
from contaminants. It was safely locked in the ground
and not exposed to today’s environment. As such,
SALTZ is in its pure natural form just as Mother Nature
has provided. SALTZ contains many natural and wholesome
minerals that contribute to the nutritional needs of
our body, as well as providing a natural flavor, adding
depth and complexity to savory dishes with its earthiness.
Since SALTZ is a natural product, its
specification will vary. A typical analysis of SALTZ
is as follows: Sodium Chloride 98.32%, Calcium 0.40%,
Potassium 0.12%, Sulfur 0.11%, Magnesium 0.10%, Iron
0.06%, Phosphorus 0.05%, Iodine 0.002%, Manganese 0.0015%,
Copper 0.001%, Zinc 0.0006%.
While most salts start out as salt,
they don't always end up that way. Normal table salt
begins as a saline solution. After processing and kiln-dried
at temperatures in excess of 400 degrees, its natural
state is changed and nearly all trace minerals are lost.
Chemicals such as silico aluminate, potassium iodide,
tri-calcium phosphate, magnesium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate
and yellow prussiate of soda, etc are then added. These
chemicals are used to bleach the salt, prevent caking,
and aid in free-flowing so that your salt will flow
freely. But have your considered what these chemicals
are doing to your body?
SALTZ, on the other hand, is in its
original rock form and have not been processed with
any chemicals. Nor has it ever been kilned or dried.
SALTZ is in its truly natural state of sodium chloride
with minerals that our body needs and can use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SALTZ
is a natural beauty on its own. Keep it as a collectible
for display and centerpiece. Or use it for cooking your
food to enhance flavour and add character to your dishes.
Simply chip a small piece, dissolve it in water and
use accordingly.
